Rochas is back, but not wz Theyskens

Olivier Theyskens may have moved on to Nina Ricci, but it appears that Procter & Gamble brass are feeling nostalgic for a bit of Rochas ready-to-wear. The company has announced that it will grant a licensing agreement to Italian manufacturer Gibo Co. SpA. The agreement, according to the Wall Street Journal, will cover ready-to-wear apparel under the Rochas brand. The first collection will be presented in March 2009.

The Daily has learned exclusively that Marco Zanini, most recently of Halston, is in talks to design the collection. After a long tenure as Donatella Versace's deputy women's wear designer, Zanini was named designer at Halston in January 2007, when the brand relaunched. He left the company in July. Emails to Gibo representatives were not returned by press time.

Birkin is exception for anything!

When i saw this pic , i just praised " Oh my gosh , Birkin is exception " LOL , even Marc Jacob carried IT ! so why don't we ( but not with this skirt , i swear !)

Hotel Porn

From Wallpaper put up an eye-catching post chronicling the newly revamped Mondrian. (From the looks of it, Benjamin Noriega-Ortiz has been true to his promise to build on, rather than "eradicate," the original Starck design, which itself built upon an aggressively bland West Hollywood hotel.) Be sure not to miss the slideshow, either—after all, travel might not be getting any cheaper, but fantasizing is still free.

When u need guide nap

It's for me LOL.When it’s pouring rain out, everyone loves their Hunter wellies but for the more dedicated chicettes, take note: Swims City Slippers are made to slip on over your stilettos and protect those gorgeous heels from mud, rain and snow. The textured soles provide traction (designed as maps of New York, Paris or Tokyo) and the bright colors ensure that you don’t lose your style. They even look a little futuristic and Balenciaga-esque, non? Puddle jump in your Louboutins all you want, you’re covered.

For u , my BOSS

The timing's hardly ideal, but Hugo Boss just opened its first store to house all the brand's men's and women's collections under one roof. The 4,000-square-foot shop is in the heart of NYC's Meatpacking District, where it's been given a bold (and neighborhood-appropriate) design by Italian architect Matteo Thun. (He also did interiors for Hotel Missoni Kuwait, which is slated to open in early '09.) Here, he's given the space velvet curtains and gold ceilings to go with the exposed-brick and stone floors, all complemented by a bold lighting system that is dictated (in part) by the weather. In other words, this is a store built to weather whatever storms may come—literal or otherwise.

"new statement" wristwear from Hermes

Even on bucolic Cape Cod, there's no slowing time, but Hermès' updated iconic Cape Cod watch lets you pretend. The new Cape Cod H1 Grandes Heures' face shows numbers arranged in a less rigid, more wishful arrangement: spaced far apart (tempo adagio, says the company) for leisurely break times and cocktail hours, closer together (tempo accelerando) for the working ones. Accordingly, the hour hand slows during the long stretches and quickens its pace for the short. (The minute hand, lest you lose your ability to tell time altogether, ticks regularly throughout.) We'd caution that your watch's inspired sense of duration isn't a watertight excuse for explaining away a two-hour lunch, but we're guessing anyone up to the investment is dictating their own schedule.

Celebrated time begins with Moet!

Gold-dipped lambskin leather case decorated with hand-sewn Swarovski crystals and gold beads in limited edition of 100, approximately $575, available at Selfridges, 400 Oxford St., London, (011) 44-113-369-8040, selfridges.co.uk

More to come, now it's french I Phone

And guess what? It's (still) not a record. Nope, for some reason the French New Age composer has designed an iPod dock. It's actually kind of slick—the amp's circuitry is designed to compensate for your MP3's lousy audio quality, and it's wrapped in an attractive case. (The phallic shape reminds us of Jean Nouvel's fragrance bottle for YSL, but hey, if you're gonna copy someone, it might as well be a Pritzker Prize winner.) Your cost? About $575, but unfortunately, as with Yves Behar's cable box, this thing is France-only for now.

Headquarter, real blood for Thai Fashion

Wrap up, Wrap up! after my sober from the Elle fashion week's after party, i just could have energy to start bloging my visit!

Headquarter! This brand is composed of three middle generation of Thai designers, CHAI, Realistic Situation and Sunshine . I really adored what Realistic Situation did for Headquarter's men ( personally ) Don't be surprised if you would see me wear something of them for Year End party!

Absolute stunning ending

Last but not least of Elle fashion Week this year was Zenitorial, celebrated 20th year anniversary, with highly anticipated buzz, crowded of fashionista and PLU! struck on the entrance to see the crowded of white brief's model and opening with Sinjai ( Tong's mom ) and Mario ( Tong from Love of Siam ).

So what's the most favorite show .....Zenitorial . Hahaa! ( fingercrossed! i also had little scream when Mario walked out! LOL!) oh and Mama Mia's live version made some fashionista can't stop shaking with the tune.

then, End up the night with absolutely stunning voice from Groove Rider , with exclusively down to stage of Mr.Burin , wow! and groovy-shaky party + thousand of alcohol served all night! i swear this week was the best of BKK's tune that i ever touched from every party i went, no need to be in Amsterdam , LOL ! )

WE LOVE FASHION!

Thank you so much, P ford!( on the second on right hand ) who brought Bangkok to be cool city

Everyone could be Queen's Bee!There’s something bizarrely inspired about lamps that resemble honeycombs. The sequence is inspired by the process of beehive building–and the crystals are Swarovski. What else?

adorable I Phone

Ok , is it time to head to I Phone?, after i played Labyrinth on my friend's I Phone and i just found that my Mom and my Bro also got I PHONE ( so ironic cuase my mom could not even sent a message on device but she could play game with that !!) I think it's now the right time to grap one and plus up with Damier graphite.

It's obviously catched up to my eyes , if u have the nice silvery device but you can’t just let that phone rattle around in the bottom of the bag unprotected, can you? Mais non! The solution is clear: LV’s new iPhone holder–in the Damier Graphite–because you should never clash your iPhone case with your Speedy. HiHi , double point for credit card and double point for your lost money in account.

Refillable Matisse!

In a luxury pairing the likes of which the beauty industry has never seen, heir to the cognac fortune and current perfumer Kilian Hennessy has teamed up with artist Sophie Matisse (yes, Henri is her great-grandfather) to create the Sophie Matisse Artistic Edition for his fragrances. Sophie has handpainted 50 unique bottles and boxes available for the holiday season at a few worldwide locations. Bergdorf Goodman has even devoted a Fifth Avenue window to the collaboration–it’s only the second time they’ve done so for a beauty brand. If you can get your hands on one of these pieces of fragrant art, it will cost you $1,500. But, hey, it’s a (Sophie) Matisse…and the bottle is even refillable.

No more british accent!

LONDON, U.K. -- Guy Ritchie and Madonna have settled their divorce, according to the U.K. publication, The Sun.

The "RocknRolla" director will reportedly walk away with assets totaling around $60 million, including a 1,200-acre country estate, a London pub, and a cash settlement.

Madonna will hold on to her New York and Los Angeles homes and most of her considerable fortune, The Sun reported.

"The negotiations were relatively painless," The Sun quoted a source as saying. "Guy knew what he wanted and Madonna knew what she was keen to keep. There was a spell when Guy was in a mood to dig his heels in, but he decided this arrangement seemed reasonable and a long battle over money would make life unbearable."

Madonna is being represented by divorce lawyer Fiona Shackleton, who formerly represented Paul McCartney in his divorce from Heather Mills. Shackleton reportedly negotiated Madonna's divorce terms during a day of phone calls with Guy's lawyers.

The former couple reportedly expects to reach a compromise over their three kids -- Lourdes, 12, who is the daughter of Madonna and ex Carlos Leon, and sons Rocco, 8, and David, 3.

Smiley Disaya

As the day goes by, it was the third day of the Elle Fashion Week 2008 already. On saturday night , there were many events across the time but abundant of fashionist people in town but what was the best party , i assumed it was Disaya's after party with smiley badge at Fallabella! ( if you could remember , it was the place for Sonkran party SKII )

Disaya is a promising Thai designer , Disaya Prakobsantisuk who was graduated from St.Martins with strong portfolios ( like interned with John Galliano, and scored the best design award for her Bachelor's graduated works ) but she intended to back for her hometown and she nailed that!

On Saturday night ,even the rain drop but no one left the tent.Disaya troop her cutey models with positive attitude as Smily face. Those are on the real money, grap your bag before get in the shop cause notes will fly away mercurously.

But after party was more fun, crowded of chic people , friendly smile and nice sip with cocktail which blended from Singha beer, hahah, don't think that it might be like so musculine type but it's chic and super girlish one, red strawberry cocktail was a stardom. LOL!! that they sliced too slim strawberry for decoratation. End night with ummm... ok drunk!

P.S. I also attached a pic that was her design on ... AMY WINEHOUSE's album cover !!!!

Welcome to new world of Lanvin Menswear

The Lanvin menswear store on rue Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris reopened on Thursday with a party celebrating the shop's redesign. The brand's creative director, Alber Elbaz, was present and noted the quiet beauty of the clothing. He explained how all the Lanvin designs are produced in Europe and that experimentation and craft remain at the core of the brand, for both menswear and womenswear.

"The wearer, not the clothes, should speak for themselves," Elbaz noted, and the beautifully crafted garments did just that in the intimate atmosphere of the brightened up space, which is housed on the first three floors of the Lanvin design studios.

Lucas Ossendrijver, the Dutch-born menswear designer at Lanvin, called the store "a luxury supermarket." From pajamas to jogging suits, the store has everything to offer the wardrobe of the 21st century man.

Imagined as a private apartment with a suite of salons, the new store has an inviting atmosphere. Shoppers are welcomed to browse everything from fashion forward metallic-shoes to the more conservative suiting that has been popular with the haute-bourgeoisie, including many French politicians, for decades.

Lanvin is now a charming mix of an established French house and a romantic young energy in menswear. Elbaz and Ossendrijver have created a brand that the customer can grow into. The revamped store is a luxurious home-away-from-homfor stylish men of all ages.

Velvet sip: Glenmorangie whisky

The swirls on Glenmorangie's new Signet single malt might resemble a tribal tattoo, but they're actually inspired by the Cadboll Pictish Stone, a mysterious totem dating from the early Middle Ages and originally located on the estate of Glenmorangie House in Ross-shire. Appropriately enough, an air of intrigue surrounds the liquor—the distillery won't say exactly how it's made, but we do know it contains some of the oldest and rarest whiskies found in Glenmorangie's cellars, matured in bespoke casks with rich "high roast" malted barley. The latter imparts strong notes of chocolate and coffee, and the end result is velvety, syrupy succulence. Glenmorangie calls it "the culmination of everything we have learnt during a lifetime of whisky creation." Sounds like hyperbole, of course, but after tasting it, we're inclined to agree.

Tip of the day : cashmere's friend

Beauty Junkie recognizes that this is indeed the time of year when one must ask the question, “How ever do I wash my cashmere?” The dry cleaner is the typical route, bien sûr. But actually, ’tis better to wash those soft treasures–you just have to do it right. Enter The Laundress New York (known for their high-end, eco-friendly clothing care products) and J. Crew who have created the new J. Crew Cashmere Wash to meet your needs. It’s pH balanced with coconut-based surfactants and works for hand-washing and the machine. Plus, it includes lavender extracts which naturally repel moths for those switch-the-closet-over months. Even better? It’s only $18. Get your own at select stores, the J. Crew Collection Store at 347 Madison Avenue and 79th St., or www.jcrew.com.

SC = Sofia Coppola for LV

Another stellar collaboration from Vuitton , the best creative brand in term of new inventions of collaboration ( from my view ) . Recently, we have heard a lot of release about LV + Commes ,simultaneously, LV also have another project collide with super profile celebrity, Sofia Coppola. Have no doubt about the relation of Coppola and LV , from the campaign with Coppola's family and "Sofia" bag from Marc Jacobs and now no more Sofia name left for the bag so the new capsule collection from Sofia Coppola for Vuittion is "SC" ( so related , LOL! )

Like no other brands that made collaborations from so-so celeb, this time is the real poetic, serene Sofia who brought her own style ( flat shoe with little black girlish dress ) to stardom , everyone like her, don't you?

Coppola was inspired by a trip to Louis Vuitton's original home in Asnières, on the outskirts of Paris. Working with the special order department, she took up the challenge of designing "the perfect bag that doesn't exist." . Total collection would be on her demand and desire for herself so who wanna be like her, that's a perfect choice.

Here you would find the special full article from IHT by Suzy Menkes , please click on title.

"Sweet face" for charity

From November 18--23, the Petit Palais, which just played host to a Patrick Demarchelier exhibition last week, will host dozens of "sweet face" dolls created by the world's top designers to benefit UNICEF's vaccination programs. Some of the designers include BCBG Max Azria, Carolina Herrera, Céline, Chanel, Chloé, Christian Dior, Christian Lacroix, Dolce & Gabbana, Dries van Noten, Emanuel Ungaro, Emilio Pucci, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Lanvin, Louis Vuitton, Moschino, Nina Ricci, Oscar de la Renta, Prada, Salvatore Ferragamo, Sonia Rykiel, Stella McCartney, Versace, and Yves Saint Laurent.

This year marks the sixth anniversary of the Frimousses de Createurs event, which last year raised 220,000 Euros for the cause. The funds helped to create 250 centers in Darfur dedicated to vaccinating under-five-year-olds against the six most deadly childhood diseases: tuberculosis, measles, polio, diphtheria, whooping cough, and tetanus. To date, the charitable venture has vaccinated over 31,000 children.

The exclusive edition was inspired by the first collection of Olivier Theyskens and 110 ml is made of Lalique black crystal and sold in wooden coffret protected by a jewelled case. THE DETAILS: $840, exclusively at Neiman Marcus.
