Dries Van Noten Men S/S 2012 " The Flood"

Fantasy footnote: If Fall's collection was a refraction of David Bowie in the Thin White Duke persona that he adopted to promote his Station to Station album, this new collection with its parkas over narrow pants and sandals could almost be Van Noten's nod to Low, Bowie's follow-up. What an endlessly renewable style resource that Bowie guy is.

Dior Homme Men S/S 2012 " Echoes"

I found Kris Van Asche's collection is fine and nice. However, i found so many things inspired him without leaving his signature on. I need uplifting scene to make me adore his collection more. My mind is still dominated by Heidi's soul.

Comme des Garçons Men S/S 2012 " Tailoring for Punk"

Rei Kawakubo's theme this season, "tailoring for punks," could almost have been applied to her earliest years with Comme des Garçons, when the formality of the style and the ferocity of the attitude combined to create the blueprint that prevails to this day. In reality, the show itself was a notably polite affair. From the outset—a slim black duffel, a lean skirt, chisel-toed shoes and socks—the emphasis was on an elegance that was almost Edwardian. Immaculately tailored pieces in classic fabrics like houndstooth and Prince of Wales check certainly spoke to that era. The retro preciousness of the kiss curls sported by the models also harked back to another time.

Ann Demeulemeester Men S/S 2012 " A desert on my mind"

Ann Demeulemeester didn't travel but she got inspiration from the desest from her head ! What a romantic desert wardrobe. I also can't deny the fishnet and see-through that made some texture different from her previous works. Somehow, i just felt the romantic all over the entire collection but i'm a dark kid. I still prefer goth rock.

Neil Barrett Men S/S 2012 " A refined hooligan"

Make way for the refined hooligan. Neil Barrett has created an altogether new hybrid: late ’70s rock chic mixed with English sophistication. Marked by black-and-white check patterns, chunky shoes and sandals, chain wallets, and, as always, leather—lots of leather—Barrett just might single-handedly revive 2 Tone ska this season.

Jil Sander Men S/S 2012 " A yearbook page of futuristic college of young man"

This season's collection looked like a yearbook page from Trent Reznor's School For Young Men. Call it the softer, cuddlier side of goth. Highlighted by high-waisted and pleated shorts that contrast the black socks and chunky shoes, designer Raf Simons continues to put futurist touches on the label's minimalist origins.

Versace Men S/S 2012 " The same wheel is still running fast"

Do we really have to tell you what the vibe of Versace is this season? Some things are constant and when it comes to Versace in the summer, it's about color. And this season it's said loud and proud—suits in electric orange and bright pink set the volume level, along with silky shirts. And Donatella Versace adds rough, tough details like pant seams of straps and buckles that bring a mas macho touch to the collection.

Gucci Men S/S 2012 " Tight-English country refinement"

A tight, no-tricks collection from Frida G this season, with a focus on the slimmer suit she has been perfecting the past few seasons and a strong nod to the house's '60s and '70s pieces. There's an air of English country refinement, too, as seen in the equestrian-inspired pants as well as the glen-plaid fabrics. Retro has never looked more modern.

Dolce & Gabbana Men S/S 2012 " The fishnet "

It's all about the fishnet for Dolce & Gabbana this season. Stefano and Domenico have taken inspiration from the southern Italian fishing villages of their youth and built an entire collection on netted weaves, from exploded ones for shirts and jackets, to micro-weaves for shoes. Even a jumpsuit. As usual, they cover a wide range of cuts, from cropped coats to full coats, from pleated shorts to trim shorts, all the while keeping the palette subdued. Typically masterful.

Costume National Men S/S 2012 "Costume gone Cure"

Call it Costume gone Cure, as this season's collection is pure '80s. The suits and shirting are gothic black with the occasional red, while the two-tone creepers seal the deal. Think Robert Smith's drama, with more than a dash of Morrissey's elegance.

Tom Ford Neroli Portofino

Tom Ford’s expansive Private Blend collection and the line’s Neroli Portofino bath products are all top notch. As fashion’s foremost purveyor of all things body conscious, Ford knows a thing or two about showing skin and the range provides everything one needs to make themselves look phenomenal. The array of soaps, gels and body lotion are scented with the addictive (and unisex) aroma of neroli and amber, a lush combo that is just right for this time of year. We love it and judging by the amount of fun Max Motta and Mariana Braga are having in the campaign, it is safe to say the scent registers as irresistible. Added bonus – the bright blue apothecary style packaging is endlessly chic.

a new couple reveal "Versace + H&M"

The Swedish mega-retailer looks to be on a roll. After the success of its stampeded-for Lanvin for H&M collection, the company announced today that its designer collaborator for Fall 2011 is none other than Versace.

According to Donatella, the collection for H&M will be “quintessentially Versace,” inspired by the archives, and including clothing, shoes, accessories, and jewelry for men and for women. (It’s also the first H&M designer collaboration to include home pieces, including Versace for H&M pillows and a bedspread.)

The studded leather dress Versace wore for her bow at her men’s runway show in Milan yesterday gave the world its first glimpse at the forthcoming collection, which hits U.S. stores on November 19th. A follow-up Pre-Spring collection by Versace for H&M will be available January 19, 2012, exclusively online in countries where H&M offers e-commerce.
