Roman Prada

Although in recession, the creativity will not run dry. I was so pleased to see Spring look book of Prada ( I had them in Hongkong after a nice attitude Sale person of Prada let me have one from my visiting ,LOL )

If you have no plenty of time to visit the real store, just click on www.prada.com ( click collection and pdf lookbook )

The latest from the mailbag: Prada's curious Spring 2009 lookbook, produced and designed by the brand's go-to architect, Rem Koolhaas, and his Rotterdam research firm, AMO. Exploring the collection's "domain of inspiration" (divinity, tribalism, and primitive symbolism, says Miuccia Prada), the lookbook shows the clothes on some highfalutin mannequins—namely, Greco-Roman statues. (A closer look reveals it's a Photoshop sleight of hand, with real-life models providing the torsos.) Compelling stuff—think of it as "modeling hard" taken very literally.

If it ain't enough !

Yes! I am still wandering around to see what would be in my wardrobe for the season. I found and i like but this is quite new thing for me to wrap, mix and match all of these above things. ok! ,though they are monotone but i am a bit afraid to ruin them , unlike the pic ( Tim Hamiltion ) is so awesome !

This is real Spring/Summer

While i'm wondering and wandering what i should wear for celebrating the real Spring/Summer here. I decided what i need is shorts but how short it should be and what type of short and what about the print or plain ...blah blah blah ( i hope i'm not the only one to have this kind of questions.. ) suddenly, i found some that might suit the condition with the attitude of Spring and Summer !. What do u think ? i need to try first !!

Dries in Aoyama

Tokyo's Aoyama district already boasts two high-profile recent additions—a paint-splattered Raf Simons store and a Phillip Lim outpost—and now it has a third: Dries Van Noten's newly opened flagship. The store features two dedicated floors of menswear, and the concrete-and-wood rooms are hung with East-meets-West art: two Old Master paintings and three "reinterpretations" of them by contemporary Japanese artists. That's thematically appropriate for a Belgian setting down roots in Tokyo, but as you might expect, the fastidious Van Noten hasn't skimped on the detail, either. Case in point: The fitting-room salon's decor calls for a hand-knotted carpet so labor-intensive—a mere 20 cm are added per day—that it won't be completed until summer.

Skinceuticals : C E Ferulics & Hydrating B5 Gel

" This is a must super-hydrator for global travel"
" Perfect for summer surf and winter skiing" David Colbert , NYC-based specializes in both medical and dermatology, said

C E Ferulics : the skin's natural protection against photoaging - neutralizing free radicals, helping build collagen, and providing unmatched antioxidant protection. More protection means more youthful looking skin and better defense against environmental aging

Hydrating B5 gel : Enriched with vitamin B5, which is known to help with tissue repair, Hydrating B5 Gel replenishes nutrients the skin needs to feel smooth and appear younger. This moisture-enhancing gel contains hyaluronic acid, the body’s natural hydrator, to bind moisture to the skin.

BOYY made it again!

The Slash, BOYY’s 2-in-1 shoulder bag/clutch

Thanks to BOYY co-designers Jesse Dorsey and Wannasiri Kongman, the brains behind the Slash, a limited-edition, dual-function shoulder bag/oversize clutch that literally goes from day to evening. While a zipper-expandable, suede gusset allows the wearer a little versatility size-wize, it’s the double-sided flap that really sold us: python-embossed lambskin on one side and a simpler, supple napa leather on the reverse. Depending on how we’re feeling—and our company—the casual-luxe vs. party-ready design conceit makes for a seamless style transformation.

Rumor has it!

We are hearing Gareth Pugh will replace Kris Van Assche as head designer of Dior Homme. LVMH hasn’t confirmed the report, but an announcement is expected any day, according to chatter at London Fashion Week. Speculation that Pugh might take the reins from Van Assche reached a fever pitch when LVMH chief Bernard Arnault’s daughter Delphine Arnault sat front-row at his very first menswear show at Paris Men’s Fashion week and called the collection “beautiful” and “amazing.” Critics, too, called it flawless. This is exciting news in the world of menswear. Van Assche never quite lived up to Hedi Slimane, who left Dior Homme almost two years ago. If anyone can reinvigorate a label, it’s Pugh, and we can’t wait to see more from him.

P.S. we could officially mourn for the departure of Oliver Theyskens for Nina Ricci. They just made an announcement of splitting.
