Sir Paul Smith's selection

While New York Fashion Week is still in full swing, London's version is just getting started. To coincide with next week's festivities, Paul Smith's London shop is hosting an exhibit of wood and brass objets d'art by Japanese designer Boku, a.k.a. Mr. Matsumoto. Not the most logical choice, we admit, but the pieces themselves—including a sewing machine, a faux notebook (with pen), and a typewriter—fit nicely alongside Sir Paul's refined, classic aesthetic. Less so? The pine robot (seriously).
