Three Apples is SANRIO’s three-week long festival celebrating all things Hello Kitty from October 23rd to November 15th at Royal/T in Culver City, California. Hello Kitty is thirty-five years old and still weighs no more than three Granny Smiths. Appropriately autumnal, Three Apples is actually named in a nod to Hello Kitty’s weight as listed in her official bio. Who knew? The art exhibition at Three Apples will be curated by Jamie Rivadeneira, owner of L.A. boutique, JapanL.A. A portion of the proceeds will benefit L.A. Works, a volunteer action center that organizes service projects throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
