Phoebe returns!

According to any rumors , now it's true. LVMH has announced that Phoebe Philo will be the creative director of Celine, beginning in October. Marco Gobbetti, the president of Givenchy, will now manage Celine. There’s been a ton of speculation that Philo, who left Chloe nearly two years ago, would return to the fashion fold, and of course it would have to be to a big brand in need of a contemporary look. Fashion is sort of desperate for girlish clothes done with a knowing eye, and it will be interesting to see what Philo makes of classic, friendly Celine. She has a clean slate, really. Balmain, in a limited way, has sexy clothes. Chloe has a new designer, Hannah Macgibbon. Suddenly, there are different players at the French table
